Investing for newborn baby

I would like to start putting money away for my new born daughter - what is the best option?

A.

I prefer share based insurance bonds because there is nothing to declare on anybody's tax return each year because the profits accrue in the form of bonuses. After 10 years they can be cashed in tax-free or left to grow. An adviser will be able to point you in the right direction.
