Repossessed properties

Noel Whittaker | July 23 2008 | The Sydney Morning Herald & The Age (subscribe)

Is it true that they're cheaper?

Q.

Are repossessed properties normally sold at relatively lower than market price? How do I find such properties for buying?

A.

They often are, but it depends how hot the market is at the time they come on sale. They are usually advertised extensively, but you should also consult your local agent, because there may be other bargains available as well.
