Am I able to get a taxation benefit through negative gearing?

If I buy agricultural land and lease it out for agistment am I able to get a taxation benefit through negative gearing?



A.

If the property has an existing loan, you should be able to claim the interest as a tax deduction once it becomes income producing. Your accountant will be able to do the figures for you.
